Imagine having the freedom of your own beach front apartment overlooking the ocean in the sunny Algarve.


Set on the sea front of Praia da Luz, wake up every morning to the lapping of the waves on the sand. Have a coffee on your own terrace or make your own freshly squeezed orange juice. Run down the beach for an early morning swim and finish the day with a sundowner overlooking the cliffs and ocean.

Instead of paying hotel prices staying at the Luz Beach apartments, give you the freedom to go at your own pace. You can pop out to the Kiwi Café alongside the apartments, which offers a full English breakfast for just 6.50 euros. Located on the traffic free promenade, there are no roads to get to the beach and no long walk with buckets and spades! Have the flexibility of walking to any number of eateries to while away an evening sampling the local cuisine.

There is a beautiful coastal walk from the beach apartments to Burgau, a neighbouring fishing village.

Are you a surfer? Use our apartments as a base while you explore the surfing hot spots of the south west Algarve.
With pristine beaches, clean water, point breaks and beach breaks all on offer within 30 minutes drive.

Enjoy a golf holiday with 3 golf courses within 15 minutes drive. The nearest course is Quinta da Boavista a few minutes drive away. There are a further 4 within ½ hour.


The apartment are self-catering with a weekly clean and sheet change and a twice weekly clean and towell change. There is a reception open Mondays to Fridays and free wi-fi in the reception area, 7 days a week.

There is street parking for cars and we can organise airport transfers. There is a bus stop about 100ms from the apartments, with a regular service into Lagos and the surrounding villages.

You can take day trips to Slide and Splash water park and to zoo marine. Boat trips from Lagos take you on a trip around the caves and grottos or you can go on an exciting dolphin safari.

General Details

We have 2 types of two bedroom apartment. The superior and the standard. The prices are the for the standard, for the superior add 7.50 euros per night and 50 euros per week. The superior sleeps up to 5 adults with air-conditioning, and has a studio room with a sofa bed which can be used as a 3rd bedroom. The standard has fans and sleeps up to 4 adults.
The apartment offers stunning ocean views and a fabulous vistas over the beach. Perfect for children with the beach just the other side of a traffic free promenade there are no long walks with buckets and spades. Alternatively a perfect choice for 2 couples sharing, there are an array of bars, cafés and restaurants on your door-step so no need for a car, meaning you can have a perfect relaxing get-away.

Bedrooms Details

The bedrooms all have fitted wardrobes and a safe. One of the bedrooms has a king size bed and the other has 2 singles.

In the Superior Apartment both bedrooms have air-conditioning. 1 bedroom is on the first floor with a balcony and 1 bedroom is on the ground floor with a private terrace.

In the standard apartment both bedrooms are on the ground floor and have inter-linking doors.

Bathrooms Details

2 bathrooms. Both have a bath with shower over, sink, bidet and hair-dryer.

Living Area Details

On 1st floor with comfortable seating for 5 people and separate dining area. Plasma TV. Doors to balcony with lovely sea views.

Dining Room Details

STANDARD APARTMENT ONLY
With dining table with seating for 6. Kitchenette, arm chairs and balcony with lovely sea views.
SUPERIOR APARTMENT
Has a separate studio room with kitchenette, seating and a sofa bed, meaning it can be used as a separate reception or 3rd bedroom with its own access and private courtyard.

Kitchen Details

Kitchenettes in both living room and dining room, with oven/ grill/ microwave, sink, work top, cupboards, fridge and electric hob.

Outside Details

2 balconies with sea view, table and chairs. 2 private terraces with sun-loungers.

Other Details

Prices are per night and in euros. Minimun stay is 3 nights in July and August and 2 nights for the remaining months.
We are open 1st March to 31st October.
