Imagine having the freedom of your own beach front apartment overlooking the ocean in the sunny Algarve.


Set on the sea front of Praia da Luz, wake up every morning to the lapping of the waves on the sand. Have a coffee on your own terrace or make your own freshly squeezed orange juice. Run down the beach for an early morning swim and finish the day with a sundowner overlooking the cliffs and ocean.

Instead of paying hotel prices staying at the Luz Beach apartments, give you the freedom to go at your own pace. You can pop out to the Kiwi Café alongside the apartments, which offers a full English breakfast for just 6.50 euros. Located on the traffic free promenade, there are no roads to get to the beach and no long walk with buckets and spades! Have the flexibility of walking to any number of eateries to while away an evening sampling the local cuisine.

Are you a surfer? Use our apartments as a base while you explore the surfing hot spots of the south west Algarve.

With pristine beaches, clean water, point breaks and beach breaks all on offer within 30 minutes drive.

Enjoy a golf holiday with 3 golf courses within 15 minutes drive. The nearest course is Quinta da Boavista a few minutes drive away. There are a further 4 within ½ hour.

There is on street parking outside the apartments, and a bus stop 100ms away offers a regular bus service to Lagos and surrounding villages.

Our studios are a perfect romantic get away for a couple, located just a stones throw from the beach, you can enjoy watching the sunset over the ocean on your spacious terrace and wake up to the sound of the waves.

Also suitable for people with mobility problems as they are all on one level with no steps to access them and no steps to get to the promenade and beach.

These studios are for 2 adults or 2 adults with a baby under 2. Cots are provided free of charge.

We have 2 types of studio, the Standard and the Superior.

The superior has air-conditioning and a King size bed. The standard has twin beds and coin operated heaters. The superior costs an additional 7.50 per night or 50 per week to the standard prices listed.

General Details

The apartments are clean, bright and built in the traditional style. Our housekeeper Fernanda keeps them spotless! There is a twice weekly towel change and clean and a weekly sheet change and clean.

The studio room comprises, twin beds in the standard studio and King size double bed in the superior. Two arm chairs, dining table / chairs. Well equipped kitchenette with microwave/ oven + grill. 2 ring electric hob, extractor overhead light, fridge, stainless sink / drainer, electric juice extractor / electric toaster. Free safe.

The studio leads out to large terrace overlooking the pedestrian promenade and beach with sun loungers table and chairs with beautiful views over the beach and the ocean.

The prices shown are per night and in euros. The prices are for the standard studio.
For superior studios with air-conditioning and King size beds please add €7.50 per night and €50 per week to the standard prices shown.
