Villa Petrolo- (Pax 19+ 9 + 6 - 750 mq) is the main building on Fattoria Petrolo, built by the architect Massimiliano Soldani as his own residence, between 1700 and 1750.

The estate "Fattoria Petrolo," with its famous winery and prestigious production of Extra Virgin Olive Oil, is located on the slope of the hills that overlook the Chianti region. The estate is only one kilometer away from the towns of Mercatale Valdarno and Bucine, 30 kilometers from Siena, 30 kilometers from Arezzo, and 40 kilometers from Florence. It is seven kilometers from the nearest highway that runs from Rome to Florence (A1 Valdarno exit).

Fattoria Petrolo" is immersed in the green olive groves, the vineyards and the oak and holm-oak woods that surround it. A place full of charm and history. The estate is dominated by the Tower of Galatrona up on the highest peak with its origin that can be traced back to the Etruscans and Romans, and that lends its name to the precious wines. The "Villa" overlooks the ancient Romanesque Pieve (old parish church), which houses works by Giovanni della Robbia. All these places are within short walking distance from the main "Villa."

Moreover, available for the guests, there are three small private lakes in which it is possible to go fishing. And on request it is possible to visit the wine-cellars and the traditional olive-mill, to taste and purchase the farm's produce. The "Villa" has a vast private garden of over one hectar, a 6 x 12 meter swimming pool and a tennis court surrounded by secular cypresses, for the exclusive use of the villa's guests. The interior decoration, in which every detail has been paid attention to, is made up in most part of antique furniture, with both antique and modern paintings.

The "Villa" comprises:
Ground floor - Entrance, large kitchen with fireplace, two dining rooms with fireplaces, a large double living-room with television and a fireplace, a living-room with television, a large billiard-room, a toilet with sink, 1 double bedroom with bathroom en suite.
First floor - Vast hall with Murano crystal chandelier, one double bedroom with bathroom with bathtub and a balcony, one double bedroom with bathroom with half-tub, one double bedroom, one single bedroom, five bedrooms with two single beds, and three bathrooms with bathtubs.
Optional on request:
Second floor, apartment "A" - Large entrance, one bedroom with three beds, one double bedroom, two bedrooms with two single beds each, one large bathroom with bathtub, one bathroom with shower.
Second floor, apartment "B" - Independent entrance (ex-apartment for domestic staff with plain interior decoration). One double bedroom, two bedrooms with two single beds each, one bathroom with bathtub.

Four hours daily for five days per week (Monday through Friday) cleaning services included. Once at the "Villa," it is possible to ask for the preparation of some evening meals of excellent quality. "Villa Petrolo" is equipped with washing machine, burglary alarm, and independent heating system
