In many ways Villa 'Ombrosa' is a truly remarkable house. Placed at the slope of a dune, it has two levels. From the romantic Mediterranean garden, you cross the broad courtyard with the shady terrace and enter the spacious living room with dining area and state-of-the-art kitchen. Behind the living-dining room lays the sauna area with a comfortable bathroom - brilliant in winter when the sea might be a little chilly.

A convenient staircase leads you to the bedrooms and bathrooms on the upper level. Thanks to the hillside position the master bedrooms have an exit to a private terrace, facing the upper part of the garden. The Villa is surrounded by greenery and blooming flowers, high pines donate soothing shade. In the garden, you can relax in many cozy places, close to a rippling fountain...

The Villa 'Ombrosa' has currently being completely renovated and rebuilt. It now presents itself as a completely new, luxurious holiday villa with 3 double and 1 youth bedrooms, 3 comfortable baths (roomy shower, sink, bidet and toilet), a Finnish sauna and a spacious living room with integrated kitchen and open fireplace. Satellite-TV (Astra & Hotbird), DVD player and stereo system with a selection of DVDs and CDs are there for the guests. For the sportive, the table tennis might be attractive and the bicycles invite for trips through the picturesque surroundings. Enjoy your barbecues on the terrace under the pergola or in another idyllic corner of the Mediterranean garden. Or spend your days on the beautiful natural beach of Monaco Mirante, it is only 200 steps away, crossing natural dunes (nature reserve). In the cooler times of the year, after a long walk along the beach (crowned by a refreshing bath?), you will appreciate the deeply relaxing Finnish sauna on the ground floor of the villa.

Tasteful ceramic dishes and enough wine and water glasses, cutlery, kitchen utensils, and the like contribute to a positive holiday mood. Here you can fully enjoy your vacation from the first moment. The quiet little agglomeration of Monaco Mirante lies on the Gulf of Taranto, 3 km southeast of the beach resort and small seaport Campomarino, on the Ionian Sea. Our romantic Mediterranean garden is surrounded by a coastal landscape: dunes, beach and sea in the front, gardens, vineyards and olive groves at the back. On narrow streets winding their way through vinyards and olive trees more than a hundred years old, you can reach the typical Apulian town of Maruggio with its friendly and hospitable inhabitants in a few minutes by bicycle. Here, you find all you need for your vacation. The larger cities of Lecce, Taranto and Brindisi, all well worth a visit, are less than 1 hour by car away. Coming from the north (Rome, Napoli, Bari), you follow the Adriatic highway all the way to Taranto, then it is less than an hour to Monaco Mirante. The airports of Brindisi and Bari are about 60 or 100 mins respectively away.
